This month in the Teacher’s Corner, we present games you can use with your students to make learning grammar fun.
For many students, grammar lessons can be boring, repetitive, and not very meaningful. As English teachers, we have to provide grammar instruction, but we often struggle to make it fun and memorable for our learners. How can we make this necessary, but sometimes dull, part of language learning interesting and engaging for students?
Playing games can give learners a meaningful way to practice new grammatical structures and concepts in context. Unlike completing exercises from a textbook, games can provide learners with an opportunity to use language authentically, making learning more meaningful and memorable.
